The rings and shaft teeth of Voith internal gear pumps are machined very precisely thanks to special production procedures. This keeps pressure pulsations extremely low, improves control loop performance in hydraulic systems, and enables your machine or system to operate with high precision. The quality of the manufactured products is very high. Another advantage is low noise. This reduces the effort and cost associated with noise reduction. In most cases, no additional measures are required to meet workplace guidelines.
Our optimized radial and axial clearance compensation reduces volume loss across the entire operating pressure range. This contributes to the excellent volumetric efficiency of the Voith built-in gear pump. This improves overall efficiency and energy savings during operation. The high volumetric efficiency of Voith's built-in gear pumps makes them ideal for variable speed drives. Using variable speed drives can save up to 70% in energy costs for hydraulic systems and reduce noise emissions by 25 dB(A).
Voith built-in gear pumps are robust, compact, lightweight and low maintenance. They typically have a lifespan of decades and high availability. Reliable operation of your hydraulic system reduces maintenance costs and maintenance downtime.
Through the rotation of the gears within the pump, pressurized fluid (usually hydraulic oil) is drawn into the cavity between the pinion and the internal gear. Optimized cross-sectional areas on the sensing and pressure sides allow operation over a wide speed range.
In the radial direction, the gear chambers are closed by gear meshes and fillers. In the axial direction, the axial plate seals the pressure chamber with as little clearance as possible. This design minimizes volume loss and increases efficiency
Voith built-in gear pumps have extremely low pressure pulsations - typically 50% lower than other similar internal gear pumps. This greatly improves the controllability of the pump. It also reduces noise emissions by up to 6 dB(A).
Decades of design improvements have resulted in high volumetric efficiency. At rated speed, the volumetric efficiency of our pumps is typically 5% to 10% higher than other pumps on the market. This makes Voith built-in gear pumps the ideal solution for variable speed drives. This can improve overall efficiency while reducing machine or system power consumption.
Peak pressure applies to 15% of run time with a maximum cycle time of 1 minute.
Please ask about peak pressures for non-standard speeds.
Due to production tolerances, pump volume can be reduced by up to 1.5 maximum speed depending on pressure.
Speed range O-400min1 depends on pressure.
