PV270 Piston Pump (Parker)

The Parker PV270 Piston Pump is an axial piston pump in which the reciprocating direction of the piston or plunger is parallel to the central axis of the cylinder. Parker PV piston pump works by utilizing the volume change caused by the reciprocating movement of the plunger parallel to the transmission shaft in the plunger hole. Since the plunger and plunger hole are both circular parts, they can achieve a very high precision fit, so the volumetric efficiency is high.

This type of hydraulic pump is a swash plate type axial piston hydraulic pump driven by an open circuit with a through shaft, and can be used in combination with a single pump and multiple pumps. Hydraulic Fluid Recommendations

It is recommended to use high quality mineral oil based hydraulic oil, such as HLP oil according to standard DIN51524 part 2. For general use, the Brugger value must be greater than 3O0N/mm2; for heavy-duty hydraulic equipment and hydraulic systems with fast cycles and/or heavy dynamic loads, it must be greater than 50 N/mm2, the determination of the Brugger value should be in accordance with DIN 51347 -2 provisions. For details, please refer to the document HY30-3248/UK "Hydraulic Fluids for Parker PV Series Axial Piston Pumps".

Viscosity

During normal operation, the oil viscosity should range from 16 to 100 mm2/s (cSt), with a maximum allowable viscosity of 800 mm2/s (cSt) at start-up. Filter requirements

In order to maximize the function and prolong the service life of the hydraulic pump and other hydraulic components in the system, effective filtering measures should be taken for the working oil to protect the system from contamination. The cleanliness of the oil is evaluated by the ISO solid particle pollution degree according to ISO 4406:1999, and the oil is filtered and purified by a filter. The quality of the filter element should meet the requirements of the corresponding ISO standards. For general hydraulic systems, the oil contamination level required to ensure satisfactory operation is not higher than ISO

4406:1999 prescribed 20/18/15. If it is required to ensure a long service life of the hydraulic components, the pollution degree of the oil shall not be higher than 18/16/13 specified in ISO 4406:1999.

Seals

Consult hydraulic fluid specifications to check chemical compatibility with seal materials. Check the applicable temperature range of the sealing material and compare with the system operating and ambient temperature range. N-NBR-40...+-90C Note: The maximum oil temperature will appear at the drain port of the hydraulic pump, which can be 25°C higher than the oil tank temperature.
